Sweet Le Freak is a DJ and event specialist based in the Netherlands. I perform at clubs, weddings, festivals and private events. Through this website you can learn more about me, view my schedule and request a booking.

What Data We Collect
We only collect data that you provide to us or that is technically necessary:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number — only when you fill in the contact form
- Message content — description of your event or question
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device — via cookies and server logs
- Analysis data — page visits, click behavior — only with your permission via Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager)
We do not collect payment data directly. Payments are processed through a secure third party.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively for:
- Contact & communication — answering questions and booking requests
- Providing services — processing and confirming bookings
- Website improvement — anonymous analysis of visitor behavior (only with permission)
- Legal obligations — when required by law or regulation
We never use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit permission, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
Retention Periods
Contact details from the booking form are retained for a maximum of 2 years after last contact, unless a statutory retention period requires otherwise. Analysis data is stored anonymously and cannot be traced back to a person.
Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses two categories of cookies:
- Necessary cookies — ensure the basic functionality of the website (session, preferences). These cookies are always active and require no permission.
- Analytical cookies (Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager) — measure visitor numbers and behavior (for example which pages are visited and whether a phone, email or WhatsApp link or the contact form is used) to improve the website. These cookies are only placed after your explicit permission via our cookie banner. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
Accepting and declining are equally easy. Declining has no effect on how you can use the website. Your choice is stored on your device for 6 months, after which we ask again. You can change or withdraw it at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. Google may process analytics data on servers outside the EU; Google LLC is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Legal Basis & Recipients
We process data from the contact form or email based on our legitimate interest in answering your question and carrying out a booking. Analytics is processed only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Data may be processed by our hosting provider (Vercel), our email service (mijn.host) and, only with your consent, Google (Analytics and Tag Manager). Processing agreements or standard contractual terms apply to these parties.
Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights:
- Right of access — request which data we keep about you
- Right to rectification — have incorrect data corrected
- Right to be forgotten — request deletion of your data
- Right to restriction — request to restrict processing
- Right to portability — receive your data in a readable format
- Right to object — object to the processing of your data
- Withdraw consent — withdraw previously given permission (e.g. for analytics) at any time
